Every battery and every battery pack is designed specifically for its intended application and thus has different requirements for insulation and performance. This is where Electrolock excels. Inside the Cell

Jelly roll wraps and battery separator papers made of flame retardant films provide excellent protection on or between cells. Depending on the material used, up to 15 Kv protection can be achieved.

Outside the Cell

Spiral wound tubing and heat shrink sleeves in many materials and dimensions provide dielectric barriers (up to 5Kv) and thermal insulation. Available in pouches, tab or lead-in sleeves, and edge protectors.

Battery Packs

These cell wrappers, edge protectors and dedicated thermal runaway protection elements come in many battery insulation materials including mica and polyimide and provide essential heat shields and safety.

External Protection

The Battery Mat is a tough, nonwoven felt constructed from the same polymer that is used to house lead acid batteries. Capable of protecting your vehicle from the venting of sulfuric acid in lead acid batteries by absorbing and neutralizing the acid before it has a chance to corrode metal surfaces.
